Friday night we will not be doing a 5K this year, but we will still have a Lighted Golf Cart Parade starting at 8:00 PM with lineup starting at 7:30 over at the Village Hall and then a movie in the West Side Park once it’s dark enough to see the screen, approximately 9:00 PM. Golf Cart registration forms should be available in the Village of Tolono Office by next week!
Saturday we will have the morning ecumenical services at West Side Park starting around 7:00 AM, at 10:00 AM lineup for the parade will begin at the Tolono East Side Park, the parade will begin at 11:00 AM with Jay and Beth Rogers being our Grand Marshals, at Noon Summer Skyz will be offering helicopter rides at East Side Park for $40 per person, throughout the day the Food Court vendors, inflatables, and various craft vendors will be open. To conclude the evening we will have fireworks starting around 9:15 PM. We will also be doing a 50/50 this year in lieu of a Golf Cart Raffle as when we typically purchase the cart we were unsure if we would be able to have our event in June. Tickets will be $20 and the winning number will be selected off of the Illinois Pick 3 evening drawing on the Saturday of our event, if there isn’t a winner we will continue to allow tickets to be purchased and go off the following nights pick 3 winning numbers until a winner is drawn.
