The Tolono Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Full Time Police Officers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 21 years of age
• U.S. citizen
• Valid Driver’s License with safe driving record
• No Felony Convictions
• High School diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or higher
• Military Experience; Current or Honorably Discharged
• Certified Full Time Police Officer Status in the United States

The Testing Process will include:

• Oral Interview Panel

After a Conditional Offer of Employment, Applicants will be subject to:

• Thorough background check with fingerprinting
• Psychological Examination
• Medical Examination with Drug Screen

Starting salary is $56,000 per year with benefits as defined by ordinance.
