Information Regarding the Village of Tolono During the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic
The Village office is closed to the public through April 30, 2020, pursuant to Governor JB Pritzker’s Executive Order.
Office staff continue to work from home visiting the office briefly to process water payments and other miscellaneous tasks as they arise. Please call 217-485-5212, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM, if you have questions, concerns, or emergency needs. Residents may also contact staff by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Maintenance Staff will operate as usual to keep the Village running smoothly. Please avoid approaching the Village workers. If it is urgent that you speak with them person to person, practice safe distancing. The next regularly scheduled brush pickup is April 21.
Residents can mail their water/sewer utility payment to: Village of Tolono, PO Box 667, Tolono, IL 61880, or use the drop boxes located outside the Village Hall at 507 W Strong Street or the parking lot of TraXside, corner of W Holden St and N Vorcey St.
Online bill payments may be set up by visiting our home page at www.tolonoil.us. Look for the blue box labeled PAY ONLINE to the far right of the screen. Residents may also submit payment through their financial institution’s bill pay service. We offer payment by phone too. Water/sewer utility payment is due April 15, 2020. To avoid a late fee, be sure to deposit payment in one of the drop boxes before 8:00AM, April 16th. Payments received after 8:00AM will be assessed a late fee. We will not disconnect service for lack of payment. Please call the office to set up payment arrangements if necessary.
We realize the weather is starting to warm up and everyone is ready to get out and get going in their golf carts. Please feel free to do so even if you have not renewed your sticker. We will extend last year’s permits through May 1, 2020.
