AMEREN Has a Better Rate than Homefield Energy!

Village of Tolono Residents – Ameren has an even BETTER RATE than Homefield Energy! To receive Ameren’s lower rate, you’ll need to opt-out of Homefield Energy.
On Tuesday, Ameren announced a residential electric rate effective today, 6/1/23, that is nearly $.01 per kilowatt hour less than the
Village’s electric aggregation rate of 8.66 cents, effective July 1, 2023.
At 7.877 cents per kilowatt hour, Ameren’s new rate would provide annual savings of $78 to the typical residential consumer, who uses 10,000 kilowatt hours a year.
The competitive market gave SIMEC a rate better than Ameren’s. Volatility drove Ameren’s regulated rate lower. If you have questions, please call Homefield’s toll-free number at 866-694-1262.
