Champaign County needs AT LEAST 507 more applicants. Applicants must go through a background check, so applying as soon as possible is important in order to be cleared prior to applicant selection which has already begun.

Getting an accurate count for the census is very important, particularly for small communities, as each resident NOT counted results in approximately $1,800 in federal funds LOST for your community that could have been used towards schools, roads, hospitals, etc.

Tolono Police Department Accepting Applications

The Tolono Police Department is now accepting applications for full-time and part-time Police Officers.  To apply please go here to fill out an application and then choose the option to either email* or print your completed application.  If you have any questions please e-mail Police.Chief@tolonoil.us.

The village is looking for citizens of Tolono who would be willing to serve on the zoning board of appeals.  This committee will make recommendations to the Mayor and Trustees concerning requests for relief from regulations within the zoning ordinance.  More information concerning the roles and procedures of the board can be found in Article Thirteen of the Zoning Ordinance.
