In late 2023 the Village Board requested the village engineering firm, Fehr-Graham to create a streetscape design for the downtown area. Over several months of surveying and testing core samples, Fehr-Graham created a preliminary plan to be completed in four phases. Preliminary plans as of 1/23/2024 can be viewed at 2024 Preliminary Streetscape Design.

 

December 2024, the Village entered into an agreement with Retail Strategies to come up with a 5-year strategic plan for the downtown area.  After public meetings and Core Team meetings, the plan was presented to the public in Fall 2025.  That plan can be viewed Downtown Strategic Plan
